How Do I Get My Child Started in this Business?

Since they don't have any experience, you want to show their personality. If there are some unusual things that they do like smile, frown or make some funny faces on command, etc.

Or if they dance to a certain song, you can make these things into a resume. The other thing is any pictures that support these things. It may be a situation where the picture is the resume and you mention some of these things in a cover letter. If you can get an agent to see them, that is half the battle.

There are some agents that will accept submissions through the mail others that have an open call on a regular basis so that you can go in and meet with them. There is a list of SAG agencies around the country on our sister site. You may have to call and ask which ones specialize in kids.

Here is what I think you should do.

First you should ask your parents ( if you are a minor ) to help you out because you will need their permission to do certain things and their help with making important decisions.
